ASIA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY CAMPUS: Thursday (12th June 2025), The Degree students of Asia Pacific University's media, arts & design faculty, hosted their final-year project showcase, titled "X-ODUS".

X-ODUS , holds a significant underlying statement that represents the student's projects through the concept of "creating innovative, yet never before seen projects".

This exhibition showcases the stunning works of over 35 graduating students from the degree courses of Visual Effects, Digital Advertising, Industrial Design and Animation.

Visitors to the X-ODUS showcase were treated to an impressive array of creative solutions, ranging from immersive animation shorts and futuristic product prototypes to cutting-edge advertising campaigns and visual effects sequences. Each project reflected months of rigorous research, concept development, and hands-on execution, a testament to the students’ commitment to pushing creative boundaries.

For many students, X-ODUS was not just a showcase — it was a launchpad into the creative industry. Let's take a look at some of their works:

1) Ng Kah Zun - Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Industrial Design - Product Design

Kah Zun showcased an innovative sports shoe for his final year project, which is fully 3D Printed. Yes, every part of the shoe is 3D printed from the exterior, to the soles as well. Kah Zun also provided some samples of the soles based on the softness the client wants. Talk about innovation!
