The creative energy was undeniable at the BIJI Buddy Bash: IP Character Poster Design Contest Award Ceremony, held on 14th June 2025 at Dasein Academy of Art. Organised by Hide & Seeds, the brand owner of BIJI Buddy, and supported by Rtist Creative Platform, the event brought together the Top 25 finalists, creative professionals, and special guests in a meaningful celebration of imagination, storytelling, and design.
The event served not only as an award ceremony, but also a showcase of emerging talent in character IP and poster design. Each finalist had the opportunity to present their unique artistic voice, while winners were crowned for their exceptional creativity and concept execution.
Starting Off: Key Messages From Industry Heads
The session started off with two sharing sessions by two senior figures in IP. First was, Michael Chuah, Creator of Yuurei Neko Sama, who talked about "Building Your Character's" IP, followed by, JT Yean, co-founder of Weyrdworks Studio, who talked about "How to Survive As A Creative".
Both senior figures provided lots of insightful experiences, IP secrets and practical tips on succeeding in the creative world to our participants.
The Award Ceremony: Winners & Finalists
The final four winners were selected from the Top 25 based on creativity, storytelling clarity, visual appeal, and the strength of their pitching videos. These individuals were announced live on stage, receiving certificates, exclusive merchandise, and the recognition of their peers.
🏆 Their work stood out for its originality, polish, and potential — and served as an inspiration for fellow participants to push the boundaries of their own creativity.
