About Me
Hi, I’m Isaac, a freelance illustrator and art teacher based in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. Digital art and traditional watercolour are my go-to mediums when it comes to making art pieces. My style of illustration is focused more towards children’s storybooks, but I also love painting portraits digitally. My favourite artist is Van Dyck, as I’m drawn towards his use of brush strokes to represent form in a painting, as well as his way of directing the eyes of his audience. I also like Jimmy Liao's art style that feature whimsical looking characters with finely drawn lines. I love pairing them with painterly backgrounds when creating my artworks.
