THE ONE ACADEMY GALLERY, 17th September 2025: The Digital Media Design students of The One Academy Kuala Lumpur, is back again with Bytesize, a graduation show that signifies the bite sized details that came together to form a hot pot filled with goodies. This edition of The One Academy's Digital Media Design graduation show consists of 17 students who presented Immersive designs, Game Design and UI/UX Design.
Kicking off the Showcase,
The opening ceremony of the showcase, started off with the students gathering at the stage area for an appreciation session. All 17 of the students involved in the showcase was introduced by the emcee of the night.
Putting Concept And Processes Into Reality
This showcase is unique, as majority of the students graduating presented immersive designs and game design, with 1 lone ranger presenting a business-centric ui/ux design. Let's take a look at the students' works and what inspired them to use this as their final year presentation.
Adda's Recipe: Grow Silents
Adda is a 3D Motion Designer popping with ideas. In every project, she adds heart and soul, seasoned with extra care. Over at the showcase, she presented an immersive take on a mossy city, where greens take over the city, a mix of green jungle & concrete jungle.
Amanda's Recipe: Beyond the Screen
Amanda may take time to open up, but when she does, her anim shines like pearls in motions. Amanda presented a game design that dwells around the concept of catching online groomers. It's an immersive sandbox game that requires the player to find out the groomers hiding around them and report to the police.
Salihin's Recipe: Pop Go, a clever business-centric take on Ui/Ux design!
As a UI/UX designer, Sal transforms simple ideas into something grand. Like the humble crabstick, he shows that even the smallest details count. Sal was the lone ranger of the showcase, as the only UI/UX Designer presenting. His recipe is more towards helping street-side vendors with solving their tracking issues. His app, PopGo, while user-friendly, is also beginer-friendly to use.
What's next for these students?
For these students, they are like raw ingredients, each of them bring together a unique texture, skill and personalities. They are in the simmering process as they enter their respective creative careers, warming up to each other, ultimately reaching a perfect boil. Now that's a good hotpot!
Can I Visit The Showcase?
Everyone from public, businesses and companies are invited to visit the showcase! From Today till 24th September 2025, the digital media design students will be showcasing their "recipes" from 10:00AM - 4:00PM on Monday - Friday, and 10:00AM - 1:00PM on Saturdays at The One Academy Gallery, Sunway.
