THE ONE ACADEMY, KUALA LUMPUR, 11th March 2026 — The One Academy has officially launched its 15th Digital Media Design Graduation Showcase titled Booga, an annual exhibition presenting the final-year projects of graduating students across several creative disciplines. The showcase runs from 12 to 19 March 2026, welcoming industry professionals, agencies, and businesses interested in discovering emerging design talent.

Held as a culmination of the students’ academic journey, Booga features projects from programmes including UI/UX Design, Experiential Design, Motion Graphics, and Game Design. The exhibition provides visitors with a firsthand look at the concepts, research, and design thinking developed by students as they prepare to enter the professional creative industry.

From interactive digital interfaces to immersive physical experiences, the showcased works reflect how students approach real-world design challenges through experimentation and storytelling. Many of the projects explore topics such as user-centred design, digital interaction, spatial experiences, and narrative-driven visual communication.
It's a Fresh Creative Perspective

For businesses and creative agencies, the showcase serves as an opportunity to discover new creative perspectives and connect with designers at the start of their careers. Visitors can expect to see portfolio-ready projects that demonstrate both technical execution and conceptual thinking — qualities often sought after by employers looking for interns, freelancers, or full-time hires.

Graduation showcases have increasingly become important touchpoints between education and industry, allowing companies to observe how emerging creatives interpret trends, technology, and user behaviour. Events like Booga also allow hiring managers to engage directly with students, offering insight into the ideas and processes behind each project.
Interact With The Students

Industry visitors attending the showcase can explore a wide range of project formats, including interactive prototypes, motion design reels, experiential installations, and game design concepts. The exhibition environment also allows for informal conversations with the design students, making it easier for companies to identify individuals whose thinking and creative style align with their brand or project needs.
The organisers encourage industry professionals to take the time to walk through the exhibition, engage with the designers, and discover the ideas being explored by this new cohort of graduates.
Supporting The Next Generation of Creative Talents

From Rtist Creative Platform’s perspective, initiatives like these play an important role in supporting the transition of creative graduates into the professional ecosystem. By bringing industry visitors into the exhibition space, students gain valuable exposure while businesses gain early access to the next generation of creative talent.
