MALAYSIAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE EXHIBITION CENTRE (MITEC): 13th - 16th August 2025. Rtist Creative Platform collaborated with Konica Minolta Malaysia and Dot2Dot printing, to bring a "First-ever" student tour at the Print Technology Expo 2025. The Printing Technology tour was a valuable opportunity for our Creative School Partners to engage in an enriching learning experience beyond the classroom.
Here's how the four-day sessions went through.
The student tour session started at 10:00AM with a talk from KC Ooi, founder of Dot2Dot printing and TikTok Influencer (aka @kc_theboss) who shared his industry experiences and how students can monetise their design works & introduced ideas on print designs the students can apply their skills in.
After the talk, the students gathered to join KC on a trip around the exhibition centre, where KC introduced the students to different types of latest printing machines, print products and invited the printers to demonstrate how the students designs can be printed on t-shirts and more.
At the end, we returned to Konica Minolta Malaysia's booth for the last leg of the trip before a free & easy session, whereby the students and lecturers continued visiting the booths in Print Technology Expo 2025.
