MILLERZ SQUARE, OLD KLANG ROAD, KL: 29th October 2025, Step into a supermarket of imagination at Ingredient Unknown, the Illustration Final Graduation Exhibition by Dasein Academy of Art, held from 29 October to 8 November 2025 at Millerz Square, Kuala Lumpur. Just like wandering through aisles filled with unexpected flavours, visitors were treated to a colourful assortment of artworks from 40 graduating illustrators, each presenting their final-year creations as a unique “ingredient” in this creative pantry.
The exhibition’s theme, Ingredient Unknown, celebrates individuality and collaboration, where every illustration contributes its own distinctive flavour. From playful character designs to conceptual storytelling, the diverse range of styles resembled a curated selection of culinary delights — each piece offering something fresh, surprising, and memorable.
Adding to the excitement, the exhibition kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony, where the creative “aisles” of Ingredient Unknown were officially unveiled. Speeches from Dasein Academy of Art principals, heads and students set the tone for the showcase, highlighting the vision behind the theme and celebrating the 40 graduating illustrators.
Like carefully curated ingredients on display, each student’s work was introduced as a unique contribution to the collective feast of creativity, inviting visitors to explore, savour, and be inspired.
