About Me
Since studying architecture, I believe that the buildings are on a mission to solve environmental issues and improve human life. Thus, I am inclined to design with concepts in terms of ecology, society, and the future.
For the last couple of years, I worked for GF55 and WQB Architecture in New York City during my OPT. I completed drawings for SD, CD, DD, and various filing and most of the mix-used building proposals by complying with building codes, guidelines, and zoning resolutions. In the preliminary stage, I provided our clients with plans to achieve basic requirements and maximize efficacy. Meanwhile, I developed the models and elevations with different forms, languages, and materials to integrate the urban context properly. Subsequently, completed further drawings, such as RCP, electrical, plumbing, fire protection plan, elevations, sections, and schedules by collaborating with mechanical, structural, and plumbing consultants.
I am passionate to participate the great projects which exert more influence on the world. When I was pursuing my master’s degree at Pratt, I was keen on learning current architecture and urban from different aspects, such as typology, megastructure, urban sprawl, bigness, and interiority, etc. These comprehensive knowledges are conducive to observing the problems, finding solutions, and exploring the potential of the building and the city. Prior to my master's degree, I worked in architectural and interior design firms in Taiwan for more than three years. Therefore, I am capable to conceive a master plan from an urban scale as well as a feasible interior layout from a building scale. I also have experience in a rendering firm, Nova Concepts in Brooklyn, which cultivate my proficiency with the utilization of materials and lighting effects.
After working and studying in the United States for these four years, I decided to come back to Taiwan and contribute to what I’ve practiced. Due to my working experience and habits abroad, I desire to work in an international environment where I can continue to achieve my goal. I look forward to meeting with you, presenting my portfolio, and discussing our common ideas. I am thrilled to contribute my skills and abilities to Taiwan. I can start working immediately.
