Good writing is a reasonable degree of rewriting. While clients are certain of what messages they want their audience to receive and hopefully process, they must never forget that their write-ups, in whatever forms (e.g. articles, social media postings), are meant for their audience and not predominantly what clients think their audience would want or wish for.
Also, bear in mind that your audience will have a lot of preferences and biases, so it will be prudent to balance your write-ups in order to encourage healthy interactions @ engagements, which ultimately benefit all stakeholders in various ways.
In this digital era, undoubtedly, the written word holds even more sway than before. As Stephen King once said “If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”
