My first international work experience was in Saudi Arabia, where I worked in a printing company as a Graphic Designer. This opportunity allowed me to adapt to an international working environment and understand the demands of a fast-paced production industry.

My responsibilities included:

Designing a wide range of print materials, including banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, packaging, promotional materials, and large-format printing assets
Preparing production-ready artwork by ensuring correct dimensions, color profiles, bleed settings, and print specifications for accurate output
Collaborating with clients and production teams to ensure designs met both creative expectations and technical printing requirements
Managing revisions and adapting designs based on customer needs while maintaining quality and efficiency under tight deadlines
Supporting branding and promotional design for businesses from various industries

This experience strengthened my understanding of print production workflow, technical design execution, deadline management, and cross-cultural work adaptation in an international environment.

Reason of resign

After spending around two years working internationally in Saudi Arabia, I felt that I had gained valuable international experience and exposure. At that point, I decided to return to Indonesia to be closer to my family. I also hoped to continue growing my career by finding opportunities in a larger-scale company where I could further develop my skills and contribute at a higher level

I worked at ADR Group under the Sakura Filter business unit, one of Indonesia’s leading automotive filter manufacturers. Sakura Filter is a globally distributed brand where the products are manufactured in-house and exported to 56 countries worldwide.

As a Marketing Communication Graphic Designer (Marcom Graphic Designer), I was responsible for creating a wide range of promotional and communication materials to support both domestic and international markets. My responsibilities included:

Designing marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, brochures, banners, and promotional campaign materials
Creating social media content and digital assets adapted for international audiences, including localization across 56 country languages/markets where the products are distributed
Supporting corporate and internal office design needs, including branding materials, presentation assets, event visuals, and internal communication design
Ensuring brand consistency across various platforms while maintaining visual standards for a large-scale international manufacturing company

ADR Group is recognized as one of the largest and most respected automotive component manufacturers in Indonesia, making the experience highly valuable in terms of working within a structured, high-standard corporate environment.

Although I held a permanent employee status, I made the decision to resign after receiving an overseas job opportunity in Saudi Arabia, which I believed would provide broader international exposure and stronger long-term career growth.
