One of our valued clients in Singapore is looking for a Johor Bahru-based Artist (Mosaic, Mural & Decorative Arts) who will be responsible for delivering a wide range of handcrafted and decorative art services across company projects, including mosaic work, hand-painted and textured surface finishes, murals, and custom artwork, from creation through to on-site installation and packaging. The role requires strong craftsmanship across multiple art techniques and close coordination with the design and production teams to ensure every piece meets client's quality and visual standards.

Position: Artist (Mosaic, Mural & Decorative Arts)

Level: Entry to Junior

Work Arrangement:

• Independent Contractor, Hybrid (Johor Bahru-based), 5-day work week, 40 hours per week

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (MYT, GMT+8)

• Lunch Break: 1 PM – 2 PM (MYT, GMT+8)

Compensation Package: Salary, Medical Leave, Monthly Day-Off

Salary Structure: The position includes an initial three (3) months of review period, during which the starting salary will be paid at 80%. This initial review period aims to thoroughly determine the suitability of remote talent in order to assess long-term employability or identify suitable replacements. Upon successful completion of the review period, the salary will be increased to 100% of the agreed amount.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mosaic embellishment, installation, and panel assembly to project specifications for client and in-house projects.

• Apply hand texture finishes and hand-painting techniques on printed and textured surfaces, creating texture artwork and decorative finishes per design intent.

• Produce liquid metal artwork, handmade canvas paintings, and custom art pieces based on client and project briefs.

• Execute 3D murals and customized wall murals, including on-site artwork installation at client and project sites.

• Handle artwork packaging and project packing to ensure safe transport and delivery.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

• A compelling portfolio demonstrating previous mosaic, mural, or decorative artwork.

• Proficient in a broad range of decorative techniques, including mosaic embellishment, panel assembly, hand texturing, hand-painting on printed surfaces, liquid metal artwork, and handmade canvas painting.

• Experienced in executing custom murals and on-site artwork, including 3D and bespoke wall murals, with the ability to deliver work that precisely aligns with client and project briefs.

• Meticulous in the careful handling, safe packaging, and transport of finished artwork to ensure condition upon delivery.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency across diverse artistic methods and materials.
