Web Developer — Freelance / Long-Term Remote Partnership

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly adaptable Web Developer to join our team. You will help us build, optimize, and maintain high-performing websites that support business growth, improve user experience, and drive conversions.

We are seeking an experienced freelance web developer who can work closely with us as a long-term team member rather than simply completing one-off projects.

Job Scope

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites, landing pages, and other web-based experiences.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to translate concepts into functional, engaging, and visually impressive web pages.
• Independently implement web pages based on existing references, designs, or brand guidelines when required.
• Optimize website performance, loading speed, technical SEO, on-page SEO, and GEO readiness.
• Apply intermediate-level SEO knowledge when developing page structures, metadata, headings, internal links, schema markup, image optimization, and other website elements.
• Implement tracking tools and analytics platforms to measure conversions, traffic, and user behaviour.
• Support A/B testing and website optimization initiatives to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving support for urgent technical, performance, or website-related issues.
• Create and implement advanced web effects and animations to deliver smooth, modern, and interactive user experiences—not only functional websites, but visually impressive ones.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate third-party platforms, APIs, plugins, and tools to enhance website functionality and workflows.
• Develop custom integrations with external platforms, automation tools, and internal systems to improve website operations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and upgrade existing websites and systems.
• Use AI tools effectively to accelerate development, research, debugging, documentation, testing, and workflow automation while maintaining strong quality control.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies, AI-assisted development tools, frameworks, SEO practices, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with familiarity in frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong hands-on experience with the WordPress CMS platform.
• At least an intermediate level of SEO knowledge, including technical SEO, on-page SEO, website structure, metadata, schema markup, page-speed optimization, and SEO-friendly development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and calmly under pressure.
• Hands-on experience with website performance optimization, analytics, conversion tracking, and A/B testing.
• Ability to build advanced effects and animations using libraries or frameworks such as GSAP, Framer Motion, or Three.js.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, typography, layout, and colour theory.
• Ability to work smart by selecting the right tools, simplifying workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and prioritizing high-impact solutions.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, solve technical problems, generate ideas, assist with coding, and streamline workflows.
• Able to evaluate and verify AI-generated output rather than relying on it blindly.
• Highly adaptable and proactive, with the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities, technologies, requirements, and industry practices.
• Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Open to collaboration, knowledge sharing, constructive discussions, and exchanging ideas with the team.
• Able to fulfil the responsibilities listed in the Job Scope.
• Preferably a freelance web developer or an individual with high flexibility who can accommodate dynamic and ongoing project needs.
