The Designer translates marketing campaign strategies into the visual language of graphic design. A clear understanding of typography, layout, animation, and art direction will be needed to help the team produce the best possible work. The designer is a strong communicator who can work with other team members to better understand what is needed, but can also explain the designer’s creations and the rationale behind them. The Senior Designer speaks the language of imagery and breathes colours and shades.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Producing visually appealing and effective designs for digital, including (but not limited to) social posts, animated GIFs, website banners, social videos, EDMs, online ads, app designs and more
  
• Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
  
• Providing the creative perspective of design for projects and other initiatives
  
• Communicating with senior team members to receive feedback
• Liaising effectively with clients and other team members
  
• Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of experience preferred
  
• Creative industry or agency experience preferred
  
• Experience in remote work
  
• Work experience producing illustrations, graphic elements and vector designs according to client specifications.

SKILLS

• Strong communication skills
  
• Adeptness with leading design software packages
  
• Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of photography, videography, and animation is a plus
