About Us

We are a growing Malaysian hospitality group operating restaurant and cafe concepts across the Klang Valley.

Our work spans modern dining, dessert, beverage, events, collaborations, and brand-led guest experiences. We are looking for an in-house Graphic Designer who can support visual communication across social media, menus, campaigns, posters, events, guest-facing materials, and internal brand assets.

This role is for someone who understands that design in F&B is not only about making things look good. It is about helping guests understand the brand, notice the offer, feel the experience, and take action.


The Role

You will work closely with management, marketing, kitchen, and operations teams to turn ideas into clear, usable, and well-designed visual assets.

Your work will include social media content, poster layouts, menu materials, campaign visuals, event collateral, digital assets, print-ready files, and brand templates.

You should be comfortable working with both refined brand-led design and practical commercial design. Some work will need to feel calm, restrained, and editorial. Some work will need to be clear, direct, and conversion-focused.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media and Content Design

You will design assets for:

  • Instagram and Facebook feed posts
  • Reels covers
  • Story posts
  • Carousels
  • TikTok and YouTube Shorts adaptations
  • Promotional announcements
  • Campaign visuals
  • Event and collaboration posts

You will also help adapt one idea across different platforms and formats while keeping the design consistent.


Menu, Poster, and Guest-Facing Design

You will support the design and updating of:

  • Menus
  • Promotional posters
  • Story posters
  • Reservation-linked assets
  • Event posters
  • Table cards
  • QR-linked materials
  • Printed guest communication materials
  • Signage and simple outlet collateral

You must understand layout hierarchy, title weight, readability, spacing, and how guests actually read information.


Brand and Campaign Support

You will help translate campaign ideas into usable design assets for:

  • Seasonal promotions
  • Festive campaigns
  • Collaboration events
  • Media or KOL previews
  • Product launches
  • Dessert and beverage campaigns
  • Special menus
  • Restaurant and cafe events

You will need to understand the difference between a brand asset, a sales asset, and an operational notice.


Design Systems and Templates

You will help build and maintain reusable templates for:

  • Social posts
  • Stories
  • Promo posters
  • Menu updates
  • Event announcements
  • Brand decks
  • Internal notices
  • Basic presentation materials

The goal is not just to design one nice poster. The goal is to help the team move faster without losing standards.


Production and File Management

You will be expected to prepare proper working files and final files for:

  • Digital posting
  • Print
  • WhatsApp sharing
  • Menu updates
  • Platform-specific resizing
  • Internal approval

You should be disciplined with file naming, version control, export formats, and keeping design assets organised.


What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Good visual taste
  • Strong layout and typography sense
  • A good eye for spacing, hierarchy, and readability
  • Ability to design for both brand and sales
  • Ability to work quickly without becoming messy
  • Good attitude toward feedback and revisions
  • Interest in food, hospitality, lifestyle, or retail brands
  • Ability to understand instructions and turn them into usable design
  • Maturity to ask the right questions before designing blindly

This role suits someone who is creative, but also practical.


Skills Required

You should be comfortable with:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Canva
  • Figma or similar design tools
  • Basic photo editing
  • Preparing print-ready files
  • Resizing assets for different platforms
  • Designing for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and digital formats

Bonus skills:

  • CapCut, Premiere Pro, or basic video editing
  • Simple motion graphics
  • Food photography understanding
  • Experience with F&B, hospitality, lifestyle, retail, or events
  • Copy layout experience for bilingual English and Chinese assets

Experience

Preferred:

  • 1 to 3 years of graphic design experience

Fresh graduates may apply if the portfolio is strong and shows good taste, discipline, and layout ability.

Experience in restaurants, cafes, hospitality, retail, events, or lifestyle brands will be an advantage.


Work Style

This is a full-time role with a 45-hour work week on a shift roster.

Because we are in F&B, some design work may be connected to outlet operations, campaigns, events, photoshoots, menu launches, and weekend activity. The role may require rostered coverage outside normal office hours depending on business needs.

You will not be expected to work without structure, but you must be comfortable working in a live hospitality environment where priorities can move quickly.

This role may not suit you if:

  • You only want to do slow, perfect, portfolio-style work
  • You are uncomfortable with revisions
  • You cannot handle deadlines
  • You dislike practical commercial design
  • You need every instruction to be fully spoon-fed
  • You are not comfortable designing for sales, menus, promos, and operational needs
  • You do not organise your files properly
