We are a Malaysian design-driven startup creating beautiful, safe, and functional furniture for cat owners. We are looking for a freelance or project-based product designer to help us bring our next generation of modular cat furniture to life.

What you will do:

· Translate rough concepts and sketches into detailed 3D models and technical drawings suitable for prototyping and manufacturing.

· Design modular components that are aesthetically minimal, easy to assemble, and safe for pets.

· Optimize designs for cost-effective production (wood-based materials, simple assembly).

· Provide renderings and visual assets for our website and social media.

What we are looking for:

· Experience in furniture, consumer goods, or pet product design.

· Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar CAD software.

· Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (especially wood / composite board processing).

· A portfolio that shows clean, modern, functional design.

· Good communication in English (Chinese is a plus but not required).

Nice to have (but not required):

· Experience designing modular or flat-pack furniture.

· Familiarity with sustainability / eco-friendly product design.

Project scope:

· Initially 1–3 product variants (modular cat villa / tower).

· Potential for long-term collaboration if the fit is right.
