Creative Design Intern

Location: Fully remote Type: Internship (3–6 Months) or part time  Allowance: Negotiable based on experience

Role Overview

We are a company based in Hong Kong serving the fintech, AI and Web3 space, looking for a creative and tech-savvy Design Intern to join our team. This isn't your typical design role; we ideally want someone who loves traditional design principles but knows how to leverage Generative AI ethically to work smarter and faster. You will wear multiple hats, handling graphics, interface design, and video content while helping us integrate AI tools into our creative workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design: Create visual assets for social media, marketing campaigns, branding materials, and presentations.
  • UI/UX Design: Assist in wireframing, prototyping, and designing user-friendly interfaces for websites and apps (using Figma/Adobe XD).
  • Video Creation: Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok/YouTube) and create basic motion graphics.
  • AI Integration: Utilize AI tools (e.g. Kling, Nanobanana, Canva AI) to accelerate ideation, generate assets, and optimize production workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to translate concepts into high-quality visuals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.
  • Portfolio Required: Must showcase strong work in graphics, UI, or video.
  • Tech Stack: Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Ps, Ai, Ae, Pr) and Figma.
  • AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for image, text, or video creation is preferred.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Based in Malaysia (GMT+8 time zone alignment required).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with 3D modeling or illustration.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering.
  • Understanding of current social media design trends.
