Position Overview:
The Digital Marketing Media Agency Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of SME client accounts, ensuring exceptional service across all digital channels (SEM, SEO, Meta/paid social), and driving campaign effectiveness, upselling, and actionable reporting. This role is the primary touchpoint for client communications, campaign optimizations, and the implementation of digital marketing best practices to maximize client satisfaction and agency revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned SME accounts, quickly responding to client queries, feedback, and campaign comments via email, call, or ticketing systems.
Build, maintain, and grow long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business objectives and aligning digital strategy accordingly.
Campaign Management & Optimization
Comprehensive Digital Campaign Execution: Coordinate, plan, and execute end-to-end digital marketing strategies. This includes the full SEO setup (conducting technical audits, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization), SEM setup (building new Google Ads campaigns and account structures), and Meta setup (creating campaigns, ad sets, and ads for Facebook & Instagram).
Ongoing Management & Optimization: Manage campaign changes, implement creative updates, and proactively optimize active campaigns to hit key performance indicators (KPIs) and maximize ROI for SME clients.
Reporting and Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using a variety of tools, with Looker Studio being a MUST for building dashboards, creating visualizations, and reporting on results to clients and internal teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (performance, creative, data, etc.) to deliver on all aspects of campaign requirements and ensure seamless execution.
Client Comments & Issue Resolution
Address client feedback, questions, and comments regarding campaign performance, deliverables, or strategy in a timely, professional manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve campaign or reporting issues, escalating to relevant teams as needed.
Upselling & Account Growth
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs, campaign performance, and new agency offerings.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for additional services, platforms, or increased spend.
3+ years of account management experience within a digital marketing agency, with a proven history of handling multiple SME accounts.
Extensive hands-on expertise in the full lifecycle of digital campaigns, including the initial setup for SEO (technical, on-page, and off-page), SEM (Google Ads account and campaign structure), and Meta Ads (campaign, ad set, and ad creation).
Deep proficiency in campaign management, optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting across SEM, SEO, and Meta Ads.
A must-have proficiency in using Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) to build and present client dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex digital marketing concepts.
Demonstrated success in upselling and cross-selling services to clients within an agency environment.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Google and/or Meta certifications are a plus.
