As a Copywriter, you will play a key role in shaping the voice of the brand across all customer touchpoints. You will craft clear, compelling, and on-brand copy that engages our audience and supports business goals – from campaign headlines and product descriptions to email content and digital marketing assets. This role requires a balance of creativity, attention to detail, and strategic thinking, as you collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, product, and e-commerce teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute clear, engaging copy for brand campaigns, seasonal launches, product storytelling, email marketing, digital ads, social media, packaging, and in-store communications.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all channels, adapting messaging to suit different platforms and audiences.
- Collaborate with Brand Creative, Marketing, Product, and E-Commerce teams to support promotional initiatives and content needs.
- Translate complex product or brand concepts into compelling narratives that connect with our target audience.
- Write product names, descriptions, and unique selling points (USPs) for new collections and seasonal updates.
- Proofread and edit copy for clarity, grammar, brand alignment, and accuracy.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and campaign ideation, contributing fresh copy concepts and storytelling angles.
- Help develop and refine internal copy guidelines, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor tone of voice, and emerging content strategies to keep our messaging fresh and competitive.
- Support any additional copy or content projects as needed by the Brand Creative Lead or senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or in a similar creative writing role, preferably in fashion, retail, lifestyle, or a consumer brand environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of copy styles and formats.
- Solid understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and customer-centric messaging.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and digital content best practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello) Is an advantage.
