Job Title: Freelance Designer for Cosmetic Branding (Minimalist / Premium Aesthetic)

Project Overview:
We are launching a new cosmetic brand targeting the Southeast Asian market, focusing on premium, clean beauty products. We are looking for a freelance designer to create core brand visuals for our debut product. This includes logo design, packaging (outer box), and primary container design.

Scope of Work:

1. Logo Design

• Minimalist, elegant design suitable for a premium cosmetic brand

• Usable across web, packaging, and print

• Full color and monochrome versions required

2. Packaging Design (Outer Box)

• Design for a small cosmetic box (dimensions will be provided)

• Layout should be simple, clean, and visually appealing for premium positioning

• Must include placeholder sections for product info, ingredients, and legal text

• No synthetic or loud elements; Halal-conscious, clean beauty style encouraged

3. Primary Container Design

• Design for a cosmetic serum or liquid-based product container

• Clean label layout or direct print concept

• Emphasis on clarity, beauty, and elegance in minimal text

• Should perform well in both physical retail and social media photography

Creative Direction:

• Style: Minimalist / Modern / Premium

• Color palette: Neutral tones (white, beige, taupe); optional accent in muted gold or black

• Typography: Serif or sans-serif fonts with high legibility

• Visual inspiration: Aesop, Shiro, THREE, Glossier

• Avoid: Bright colors, playful or loud designs, overly decorative elements

Design Philosophy:

• No unnecessary design elements

• Must reflect "clean beauty" and daily luxury

• Appeal to professionals who value self-care and aesthetics

• Product design should be timeless and subtle

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in branding or packaging design, preferably in cosmetics or skincare

• Strong portfolio with similar aesthetic (premium / minimalist)

• Able to deliver editable files (AI/PSD) and print-ready mockups

• Experience with multilingual layout (e.g., English + one additional language) is a plus

Timeline:

• Project kickoff: End of June 2025

• First draft: 2–3 weeks from project start

• Final delivery: Within 4 weeks

Deliverables:

• Logo files (editable and final formats)

• Packaging design (outer box dieline and mockup)

• Container design (label or direct print with mockup)
