We are seeking a talented and creative Furniture Designer to join our team. As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating innovative furniture designs that meet the needs of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for furniture design and a strong proficiency in 3D Software, Adobe Photoshop, and AutoCAD.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create original furniture designs, considering functionality, aesthetics, and market trends.
  • Propose or recommend new furniture designs, specifications, and finishes.
  • Propose, check and ensure packing-related items (Assembly Instructions, Carton Box Sizes, Furniture Accessories) are clearly listed before production
  • Develop concepts and designs to meet clients' requirements.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
  • Utilize 3D software to develop virtual models and renderings of furniture designs for visualization and presentation purposes.
  • Incorporate client feedback and make necessary design modifications to meet their expectations and requirements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure proper execution and production of designed furniture pieces.
  • Collaborate with the production team to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure the final products match the design specifications.

Requirements:

  • Passionate to have a career as Furniture Designer, demonstrating a strong portfolio of previous furniture design projects.
  • Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max) for modeling, rendering, and visualization.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for creating visual presentations and design modifications.
  • Strong understanding of furniture construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to balance creativity with practicality to design functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment.
