About Me

Having risen through the ranks for the past 10 years as a journalist for two major media organization I am keen to apply for the above role and channel my wealth of experience to the benefit of your organization.

Here are some of my attributes that might be interesting to you:

I bring with me extensive experience during my duty reporting for theSun in covering major news event in northern region especially during the Wang Kelian Tragedy in Perlis, Kedah and also border town of Thailand Malaysia. Along with that I have covered two General Election- in 2014 with CJMY and in 2018 as well as three by-elections with theSun. In 2016 I was also given the responsibility to cover the Kedah MB crisis when Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahahthir was force to relinquish his position as MB. Apart form covering major political news, I was also responsible in covering environmental issue in Penang and part of northern region. My exceptional abilities in covering environmental issues had enabled me to be awarded the Green Journalism Award for excellent writing of from the Penang State Government for 2016 and 2015.

Currently I am spearheading wide spectrum media management and public relations functions where I have played an immense role in adopting variety of news management techniques in maintaining positive public image as well as preventing negative media coverage for an Exco State Member of Penang
