I'm good at user research, user experience, wireframes, UI design in Figma, and magazine layouts in InDesign. I led a project to streamline BLI’s enrollment process, which previously relied heavily on manual staff work. The challenge was reducing staff workload without losing the personal, high-touch service that Lisa and BLI were known for, because that personal connection prevented drop-offs during enrollment.
Through user research, we discovered that website information was overwhelming for prospective students. Additionally, client interviews revealed that BLI alumni had no platform to connect with each other or maintain relationships with the institution.
I proposed solutions that automated routine tasks while preserving key human touchpoints (e.g., personalized check-ins at critical decision moments). I also designed a lightweight alumni engagement structure to foster community and long-term loyalty.
