About Me

My name is Nurul Syahirah Muhammad Nazrul, and I am an accomplished graphic designer with a diverse portfolio and a proven track record of excellence in the field. Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed a unique style that blends creativity with strategic thinking, enabling me to deliver high-impact visual assets that resonate with audiences and drive engagement. With a background that includes both academic achievements and practical experience, I am well-equipped to take on challenging design projects and lead teams to success.

I embarked on my educational journey at SMK Taman Ria, where I completed my Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) in 2017, achieving commendable results with 2A-, 2B+, 2B, and 2C+. My passion for design and creativity led me to pursue a Diploma in Graphic Media Digital at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) from 2018 to 2021. Throughout my diploma studies, I consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning a CGPA of 3.53 and making the Dean's List for four consecutive semesters. My exceptional GPAs of 3.57, 3.52, 3.74, and 3.78 are a testament to my dedication and hard work.

My professional journey in graphic design began in January 2020 when I joined N'A Nur Aleeya Cosmetics as a part-time Graphic Designer. During my tenure, I was responsible for creating weekly digital postings and designing corporate items according to the company's requirements. This role allowed me to refine my design skills and gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment.

In October 2021, I transitioned to Dulce Media Agency as an Executive Graphic Designer. At Dulce, I had the opportunity to design the Aafiyat World apps and Olive House Mall websites. My responsibilities extended beyond digital design to include poster and packaging designs. Leading a dynamic design team, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing high-impact visual assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also developed my leadership and project management abilities.

Currently, I serve as the Head of Designer at Gather Properties Sdn Bhd (HQ), a position I have held since September 2022. In this role, I have been instrumental in assisting the company in securing the prestigious MIEA Award for Medium Real Estate Firm of the Year 2024. My contributions include designing offline and online materials such as websites, videos, and event graphics. I have successfully adapted design concepts to various media formats, including web, social media, print, and video, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence across all platforms.

Throughout my career, I have developed a robust skill set that includes proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. My expertise in these tools allows me to create visually stunning designs that capture the essence of the brand and engage the target audience. Additionally, I am well-versed in logo design, packaging design, and social media poster design, having worked on numerous projects that showcase my versatility and creativity.

My linguistic abilities in English and Malay further enhance my capacity to communicate effectively with diverse clients and team members, ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and met. Moreover, my participation in the Reqa Karya Exhibition and facilitation of programs and activities at Reqa Creative Centre highlight my commitment to continuous learning and community engagement.

One of the significant milestones in my career was leading Gather Properties to secure the MIEA Award for Medium Real Estate Firm of the Year 2024. This achievement underscores my ability to contribute meaningfully to organizational success through strategic design and branding initiatives. My academic achievements, including being on the Dean's List for four semesters, reflect my dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.

As a graphic designer, I believe that design is not just about aesthetics but also about solving problems and telling stories. My approach to design is rooted in understanding the client's needs, the target audience, and the overarching brand message. I strive to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also functional and effective in achieving the desired outcomes.
