As visual merchandiser, my role and job responsibilities are as follows:

• Merchandise Display Design:
Visual Merchandisers are responsible for designing appealing product displays, including window displays, shelving
arrangements, and racks. They consider factors such as product placement, color coordination, and lighting effects to highlight
product features and attract customer attention.


• Layout Planning:
responsible to plan the layout of merchandise based on the size and layout of the store by ensuring that customers can easily
find the products of interest and feel comfortable, indirectly for promoting sales.


• Seasonal and Themed Decorations:
responsible in design displays related to seasons, holidays, or specific themes to increase purchase desire and the attractiveness of the store. For example, ensuring the displays for Christmas, Valentine's Day, or New year's shopping feel being
displayed out.


• Decoration and Prop Selection:
responsible to select appropriate decorations and props with objective to enhance the effectiveness of product displays, which
may involve furniture, backdrops, plants, and set pieces.


• Collaboration with Sales Teams:
responsible to work closely with sales teams by understand their sales goals and strategies and ensuring that product displays
align with these goals in achieving Company's sales targets.


• Monitoring and Updating:
responsible to monitor regularly the effectiveness of product displays and make necessary adjustments and updates based on the feedback and sales data, to ensure optimal display performance and sales results.


• Tracking Trends and Competitors:
responsible to closely monitoring market trends and competitors' display strategies for timely adjustments with the intention to maintain a competitive advantage.

Project Design and Development
Act as main coordinator and site supervisory role with the following job responsibilities/ functions:

• Upon receiving job request from client, will arrange for "Brainstorming session" with the team to come up with a proposal plan. This includes conduct market research and market survey for obtaining idea(s) for work development.

• Act as coordinator between supplier/carpenter and client including obtain quotation from supplier/carpenter on work development.

• Manage client's expectation by ensuring materials supplied by supplier/carpenter are correct and sufficient that meets the job requirement. This also includes the design's requirement is understand and accepted by carpenter before start production.

• Act as site supervisor to ensure work progress smooth, on time and on the right path. This is to avoid any wastage and delay in work deliverable. This also including conducting site visit from time to time.

• Responsible on problem solving during work progress such as finishing product does not meet client's expectation, delay in deliverable and etc. Will ensure problem solved with minimal loss incurred and meet client's expectation.

Premium Gift Sourcing
Act as main coordinator between client and supplier with the following job functions/ responsibilities:

• Upon receiving job request from client, will interview client for further order request details such as the quantity required, budgeted costs, purpose of gift and other related questions. This is to ensure what client's expectation and our understanding are aligned.

• Source for a few supplier(s) for client to choose before commencement of work production.

• To produce a sample gift requested for client to review and evaluate. If the sample is satisfied by client, will proceed for mass production as per client's requested.

• Will perform Quality Checking (QC) on the finishing goods before send over to client.
