As a Graphic / Digital Designer Intern at Steelcase, I supported the marketing and design team in creating visual assets for both digital and print platforms. My role involved translating brand guidelines into consistent, high-quality design outputs that aligned with Steelcase’s global branding standards.
Key responsibilities included:
- Designing marketing and promotional materials such as digital banners, social
media visuals, presentations, and internal communication assets.
- Assisting in layout design for brochures, catalogues, and brand collateral.
- Supporting digital content creation for campaigns and client presentations.
- Ensuring all designs followed Steelcase’s brand identity and quality standards.
- Collaborating with marketing, sales, and design teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Making revisions based on feedback while maintaining design consistency and professionalism.
This role strengthened my skills in visual communication, brand consistency, and working within a structured corporate design environment.
I completed my internship period and chose to transition into freelancing to further develop my skills across a wider range of industries and projects. Freelancing allows me to take on more diverse creative challenges, work directly with clients, and continuously grow as a graphic and digital designer.
