I caught fire writing.

My childhood dream was to become a doctor; that is, until I found passion in writing. I have always had a thing for language and healthy perfectionism so when I delved into the world of proofreading (a.k.a red-pencil and coffee life), I felt alive. I get to follow my passion AND have it pay my bills. Bliss.

I care for the environment and was, at one point, temporarily involved with WWF-Malaysia. I did upcycling in UiTM and was heavily involved in the annually held Chem-E-Car competition (4-year participations, with one that put me on the ports of Freo). Our environment is getting fragile by the day and I had to do my part and create awareness, however small it may seem. To educate others, I need to be educated first, which is why I pursued a Master’s in HSE next.

Fortuitously, I am now in the Renewable Energy industry and I'm excited for what lies ahead. Previously at Sapura (SST), I managed big data analytics for Special Projects that are centered on RE, Health Care, Water Concessions, and other greenfield projects. Then, I was given an opportunity to thrive as a Technical Writer in SST’s Commercial & Contracts Department with multidisciplinary teams on Malaysia’s High-Speed Rail projects, such as KVMRT2 and LRT3. All have been a wonderful learning curve for me.

My ‘Work Experience’ tells you that I wear many hats, each displaying to further advantage the versatility of my talent that would hopefully serve me well in my career path. I’m excited to leverage all my skills to the wellbeing of the company I work for and ultimately, for my professional and personal growth.

Folks, as the wise would put it, there's certainly more to learn and our world has no shortage of problems in need of solving. But there is also no shortage of the human ingenuity and creativity necessary to address.
