About Me
I'm Addin. I am currently seeking for a an online work-from-home job.
I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics but my studies have been put on hold due to unavoidable circumstances.
I have 2 years' experience working in the customer service industry.
I was a cashier for Mr D.I.Y., a home appliances store in my last employment. My main responsibilities were to process cash and cashless transaction using a cash register and POS, and provide sales information to customers. My responsibilities as a cashier were not limited to completing transaction only — I need to be familiar with product knowledge and store layout to respond effectively to customers’ inquiries
I have also had the experience working as a data-entry typist at UNISYS. My job-scope as a data-entry typist was to process banker’s cheques within a time limit.
Prior to that, I worked as a waiter at Chilis, a casual dining restaurant. As a waiter, I was tasked to not only take orders and serve customers but also to communicate effectively when dealing with customers’ demands and requests. I also had the experience in handling difficult customers.
In-addition to the aforementioned work experience, I am familiar with word processing software i.e. Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
I've written articles on current affairs that were published on NST, MalaysiaKini, The Star and FMT.
I spend my past-time playing sports, reading and playing guitar.
