My name is Augustine and I am a fresh graduate from the Bachelor's Degree Programme of Public Relations & Marketing of Taylor's University Lakeside.
I am looking for a part-time based contract/freelance/work from home job to earn side income.
I was given the tremendous privilege to have recently completed an internship with Nestle. A practical training within Nestle afforded me the coveted chance of experiencing exposed theoretical concepts coming into fruition in the fabric of reality perceived by the human senses. This invaluable experience played its advantage to my traits as a visual, hands on learner. I was never a coffee and printing boy bogged down by merely administrative and page boy work, as one would stereotypically expect out of a Malaysian internship experience.
I planned, devised and executed an internal launch for Nespresso employees in regards to one of Nespresso's early year campaigns with the objective to educate Nespresso's employees pertaining to the new product offerings of the Ispirazione Italiana Campaign. The internal launch was also devised to inculcate a sense of internal brand ambassadorship to develop employees to be brand ambassadors of the company in approaching their departmental work with passion and energy.
Furthermore, I was tutored in the processes needed for a media launch. I liaised with multiple engaged agencies for revisions and suggestions of their work, and also helped source out sufficient inventory stock from supply chain for the execution of the intimate media launch at The Ruma Hotel & Residences, Pavillion, in the month of January.
I was particularly involved heavily with influencer campaigns. I had the privilege to work together with the assistant brand manager of Nespresso in the creative ideation of influencer driven marketing campaigns for various seasonal Nespresso product offerings. Several ideas were implemented and it contributed to successful influencer campaign launches. During this aspect of the internship experience, I also managed engaged influencer postings with the engaged KOL agencies as well as schedule the type of influencer postings that will ensure campaign & brand message consistency and coherency.

Key learnings from my practical training duration @ Nespresso:
- There is no such thing as a "one size fit all" marketing message
- Consumer data is key to making different marketing messages relevant to different targeted consumer demographics
- The execution/translation of a campaign is dependent on the campaign's messaging
- Mass followers are not equivalent to real influence ; engagement rates are a better and more reliable metric for consumer conversion
In addition, my time @ Taylor's University had been nothing short of preparatory. I volunteered as the marketing director of Propassion Communications, a final year student consultancy and was involved in several leadership positions that involved marketing @ Taylor's Christian Fellowship. I came up with weekly social media design postings, captions as well as scheduling for our assets.
